FORMULA Boats has again demonstrated its mastery of design and construction in the cruiser arena with its newest Performance Cruiser, the Formula 37 PC. The 37 PC is reminiscent of its sibling, the 40 PC. This John Adams design incorporates similar concepts and philosophies into a slightly smaller package. Adams, Formula’s exclusive designer for over 50 years, has created yet another avant and practical cruiser in the 37. At 11,71 meters (38 ft, 5 in) in length overall (11,28 m/37 ft without the bow platform) and with a 3,66 meter (12 ft) beam, the 37 PC presents a European flair with its forward-swept radar arch and flowing lines, yet boasts plentiful storage and an expansive cockpit.

THE COCKPIT: INVITING, FUNCTIONAL AND CUSTOMIZABLE
Inviting and functional, the cockpit is equally prepared for long-range cruising or afternoon entertaining. The seating, with comfortable accommodations for 12, is aesthetically pleasing without being overstated, and ergonomically correct in every aspect, from the two-position helm seat–which allows the captain to stand, lean or sit–to the expansive lounge seating.
At the helm, handsome Livorsi® illuminated gauges, accented by chrome bezels, are displayed in a logical, easy-to-read arrangement and mounted in stunning burl wood-finish panels. Command controls and switches are within easy reach, and there is plenty of dash space for personalized, add-on electronics. That’s right! While your cockpit is loaded with useful standard amenities like a Raymarine Axiom Pro 12s GPS color chartplotter, you can add even more technology features to your performance cruiser’s dash.
LOUNGE OR SIT? WHY NOT BOTH?
Passengers can choose to recline or sit in the port side lounge, or enjoy the U-shaped aft lounge/sunning area, where installing the standard cockpit tables allows for a game, meal or snack, and lowering the tables and adding cushions creates an expansive sunning area. The fifteen polished aluminum drink holders placed about the cockpit mean everyone’s beverage is within easy reach, regardless of where they are sitting.
Molded fiberglass in-dash deck access steps with a 316L stainless safety handrail lead to the walk-thru windshield. Twin deck sunpads invite lounging, while handrails and non-skid surfaces ensure safe passage on the foredeck, even when opening the anchor locker lid to reveal the concealed, standard electric anchor windlass.
Entertaining is a snap with the functional yet beautifully constructed wetbar aft of the portside lounge. With demand fresh water and sink, a concealed trash receptacle, and plenty of storage below, you’ll see the 37 PC a must for long days on the water or at the dock! LEAVE NOTHING BEHIND
When you’re the captain of a 37-foot cruiser crafted by Formula Boats, you won’t have to leave anything behind. Like comfortable seating and cup holders, smooth, fiberglass-lined storage is also abundant elsewhere in the cockpit–in fact, nearly everywhere one might look. The aft cockpit features roomy storage areas beneath the starboard and rear seats, and the aft “trunk” is accessed by a large fiberglass, gas-shock assisted door at the swim platform.
Inside is dedicated fender, table and cushion storage with plenty of room for additional gear. More storage can be found beneath the portside lounge and helm seats, as well as below the dash. The Formula 37 Performance Cruiser can even accommodate larger gear, such as water skis and wakeboards, with ease. With our 37-foot cruiser, you don’t have to choose what you’ll do on the water and pick your gear ahead of time. Instead, you can bring everything with you so you’ll be prepared to engage in your favorite activities at any given moment.
THE CABIN: ELEGANT, AIRY AND COMPLETE
The spacious cabin has up to 2,01 meter (6´ 7˝) of headroom and is entered through a one-piece, sliding curved acrylic door. Elegant, airy and complete with comfortable appointments, the cabin sleeps six people, two in the stateroom, two in the aft cabin/lounge area and two in the main salon. The 37 PC main cabin is equipped with a 81cm/32″ LCD/LED HD TV w/Blu-ray Disc player and WiFi System. The Stereo system source is a Bluetooth Clarion® AM/FM stereo with USB input, a 200W amplificator and 100W subwoofer.
The forward cabin features a spacious centerline bed with drawer storage below as well as two hanging lockers with automatic lights. The head is spacious and comfortable with a molded fiberglass vanity with lower doors in Open-Grain Walnut, Open-Grain Driftwood, high-gloss Ash or wenge finish cabinetry, Corian® countertop, stainless sink and an enclosed stall shower with a hinged acrylic door.
The expansive aft cabin features an Ultraleather lounge with cocktail table. The lounge converts to a double bed for guests. The aft cabin-hanging locker is cedar-lined with an automatic light, and the entire area can be enclosed with a privacy partition for sleeping or for a stand-up changing area.

THE GALLEY: A WELL-EQUIPPED, EXPERTLY DESIGNED
The deluxe galley is enhanced by a Corian® countertop, round, polished stainless sink and below-counter refrigerator. The impressive array of galley equipment also includes a flush ceramic cooktop, microwave oven and in-counter trash receptacle.
The exclusive Formula cabinetry is expertly designed and skillfully tooled. The clean presentation and precise fit are the result of exacting assembly methods and top-quality materials. The High-gloss Deep Cherry cabinet space is plentiful, and lower cabinets are lighted when opened. The Ultraleather™ U-shaped lounge to starboard features a removable wood-trimmed table that can be converted into a double berth.
Even if you don’t necessarily like spending time in the kitchen at home, you will enjoy every minute you spend in your performance cruiser’s galley. Nice-looking, well-appointed and roomy, your galley has everything you need to throw together a snack tray or prepare an elegant, multi-course meal. With a smart layout, maneuvering around the galley is a breeze even if you have a sous chef or two working alongside you.
ENGINE OPTIONS
The 37 PC is available with either V-drive inboard or stern drive powertrains. Each engine configuration provides more cabin space than a traditional inboard application. The engine hatch lifts from the aft, hinging forward to allow excellent access to the front of the engine, and a smaller “day hatch” in the aft cockpit allows for quick trips below. The 37 PC’s clean, beautiful lines and large storage areas are sure to be crew and family pleasers.
The 37 PC’s 18˚ deadrise handles offshore conditions with ease, and reliable performance is the key word with power options of twin Gasoline 380 or 430 HP MerCruiser or Volvo engine packages. If you prefer Diesel engines, the Volvo Penta D6 with 370 HP or 400 HP as well as the IPS450 with 330 HP will be your options. The 803 Liter (212-gallon) fuel capacity extends your cruising horizons aboard Formula’s new 37 PC—just far enough to take a journey of unknown possibilities!
