FORMULA 380 SSC - The New Adventurer
Filling out the Crossover line, here comes the Formula 380 Super Sport Crossover. The motor boat 380 SSC is a new player in the arena that will surpass all others. This 38´ in length, 11´ 6˝ beam contender slots in nicely between the 330/350 Crossover Bowriders and the established 400/430 SSC and ASC models. The 380 SSC can be selected either with twin sterndrive or triple outboard power. The 380 SSC is built with a sea-carving 21° deadrise. The Formula FAS3Tech® stepped hull proven by its performance has been adopted for better performance.
The 380 SSC continues Formula’s open-bow, full-cabin dayboat legacy without compromising full-width deck space and complete belowdecks accommodation. No other competitor in its class can offer both a full single-level deck as well as sleeping for four with a cabin galley and sink plus stand-up, enclosed head below. While pretenders are happy to take shortcuts, such as splitting cabin living spaces or combining galley and head equipment into a single area, the 380 boasts a true living area below without the claustrophobic limitations forced by conventional center or dual console designs.
FULL WIDTH COCKPIT
A full-width hardtop with a top-to-bottom windshield and exclusive sliding bow window to port allows for an open, inviting cockpit experience. The fiberglass hardtop with full-width motorized glass sunroof opens to the sky. Interconnected SmartZone™ seating, from the expansive bow to triple helm seating and U-shaped lounge aft, increases choice for all.
The cockpit environment is yours to control with available 18,000 BTU reverse cycle A/C and a state to the art sound system. The standard Rockford Fosgate® stereo with USB port, Bluetooth® can be controlled from multiple points. 10 JL Audio® blue LED lighted chrome-finished speakers with 600W amplification will give a clear and powerful sound. Additionally, a blue LED lighted 200W subwoofer contributes to the sound quality.
TRIPLE COMMAND SEATING – PERFECT!
The 430 and 400 SSC’s triple command seating has been smartly transferred to the 380. In this luxury motor boat, the seating construction is offering chiseled support and advanced ergonomics. Each seat bottom adjusts for options to stand directly on the cockpit sole, or to sit or rest on the upright seat. Two footrest heights further customize the fit. The sturdy composite dash features a Liquid Black floating panel. The panel is showcasing a Raymarine Axiom 12 GPS widescreen color chartplotter with upgrades to dual Axiom 12’s or XL 16’s. The 380 SSC also features Mercury® DTS with SmartCraft Vessel-View™. Intuitive waterproof backlit rocker switches are smartly positioned. Digital switching with chartplotter control is also a standard feature. The cockpit has blue LED accent lighting, creating spectacular look. A lockable dash storage compartment with floating Liquid Black front safeguards your valuables. A padded mobile device station with dual USB charging port and wireless charging conveniently displays your screens.

For relaxing at the sandbar or cove, head aft to the spacious, rear-facing sun lounge with individual backrests that easily adjust fore and aft. Under the lounge, a spacious trunk keeps four fenders safely stowed. Entertainment capabilities are extended aft, with four drink holders and a dual USB charging port at the sunpad. In addition you will find a waterproof stereo control at the utility locker to port and powerful JL Audio speakers over the platform.
When sun protection is preferred, the available SureShade extends aft from the coupe top at the touch of a button. Further aft, the 380’s SmartZone design means easy water access off the roomy swim platform with under-mount swim ladder. On the sterndrive model, a hydraulic or stationary Water Sport extended swim platform with four drink holders is an option. THE PERFECT DESIGN
Through the portside helm door, three solid wood steps lead down to a fully appointed cabin with molded liner. Woodgrain-finish flooring, 196cm (6´ 5˝) headroom, spacious, opening and fixed windows are features making the cabin a very attractive spot.
The 380 cabin provides a completely residential experience centered on the U-shaped Ultraleather® lounge. In the center there is a dual-height, high-gloss wood table that can accommodate friends for dinner or be lowered for sleeping. Berth legroom is easily revealed by raising the forward backrest. A dual USB charging port is conveniently located nearby.
A SECOND KITCHEN INSIDE THE CABIN
The starboard side lower kitchen is beautifully presented in your choice of woodgrain finishes and rich Corian countertop selections. Culinary conveniences include a spacious Corian sink with premium folding swivel spout and glide-away cover, overhead microwave, available Keurig® coffee maker and concealed trash container.
Clever slide-out storage boasts a hardwood divided dovetailed drawer with paper towel keeper and automatic silent closure. Spacious open and concealed cupboard space above keeps it all in place. The 81cm (32”) LED/LCD HDTV with Blu-ray™ player is perfectly positioned to entertain your guests.
LATEST TECHNOLOGY – BETTER LIFE ON THE WATER
To port, you will find a large pullout Isotherm stainless steel refrigerator. An additional drawer storage plus a slide-out drawer and shelf unit allow for comfortable stay-aboard journeys. Also to port is the electronics pylon with Rockford Fosgate stereo remote control, touch air conditioning control and light switches. Digital switching offers chartplotter connectivity and light dimming control. Four cabin speakers bring pure audio clarity while blue LED accent lighting acts as a dramatic design element throughout.
ROOMY HEADROOM COMPARTMENT WITH SHOWER
The spacious head of this luxury motor boat features a molded vanity with Corian countertop and a molded fiberglass sink with upscale Moen® faucet. The cabinetry has a nice woodgrain-finish. The porcelain Flush and Forget® Vacuflush® head unit and shower are standard on the 380 SSC.
STYLISH & COMFORTABLE
The aft cabin stateroom with privacy curtain features a permanent queen-size bed. The bed has a memory foam mattress, so there is no need to convert the lounge for primary sleeping. The upholstered headboard offers hideaway storage place. Pillow shamsare a nice addition. Two dual USB charging ports are very convenient at this place. An available 81 cm (32˝) LED/LCD HDTV with Blu-ray player and deep storage areas at the foot of the bed make this a perfect retreat.
